The Wednesday group got moved to Thursday due to the weather. They reseeded carrots,
harvested lettuce, snow peas , and cabbage.
March 13, we
planted radishes, kale plants. We also reworked more containers.
There was no
blog on Spring break, but Mr. L checked on garden over spring break
March 23, We
managed to harvest snow peas, cabbage ,kale, and spinach.(General clean up in
preparation for garden tour on Wednesday morning)
March 25, We
had our garden tour today with the Central Texas School Food Service Directors
Association(CTSFSDA). There were 15 attendees from places such as Burnet,
Dripping Springs, San Antonio, and Texas Department Of Agriculture. We served kale salad,
coleslaw/cabbage, red and green salad /lettuce and beats.
