Wednesday April the first we started potting  basil. We harvested a lot of lettuce.Also we watered and weeded the garden beds.

Friday junior harvesters met on Thursday during recess due to early release .we planted green beans and Prolific squash .We also added  soil to the potatoes.
On Monday we cleaned up are outdoor dining area and pulled the old snow peas off of trellis


Beets- 8.5  lbs
Parsley- ½ lbs
Lettuce -18.2 lbs
Snow Peas- 1.5 lbs
Cabbage -17.5 lbs
Kale-4.4 lbs
Spinach- 5.5 lbs
Cilantro- ½ lbs

TOTAL WEIGHT:
56.6 lbs



For the week of April 15th we have been doing lots of things. On Monday, we harvested lettuce, spinach, and cabbage. Potted up 2” herbs to 4” peppers. We also donated a selection of culinary herbs to the booster club auction. On Wednesday, we potted 2” basil to 4”. We also harvested lettuce . On Friday, we had to move Friday group to Thursday due to Jamboree. On Friday, we planted squash and beans.

Weekly Garden Report


Over the past week bunches of things have been going on. We wanted to thank Apple Lumber for donating “kid – sized” rakes and shovels. On Monday, we filled pots, harvested Parsley, cilantro, and lettuce, we also planted tomatoes. On Wednesday, we potted , pulled weeds, and pulled plants on one side of the trellis. On Friday we planted cucumbers, marigolds , squash, and filled big pots.

Garden reports from lastweek


 The Wednesday group got moved to Thursday  due to the weather. They reseeded carrots, harvested lettuce, snow peas , and cabbage.
March 13, we planted radishes, kale plants. We also reworked more containers.
There was no blog on Spring break, but Mr. L checked on garden over spring break
March 23, We managed to harvest snow peas, cabbage ,kale, and spinach.(General clean up in preparation for garden tour on Wednesday morning)
March 25, We had our garden tour today with the Central Texas School Food Service Directors Association(CTSFSDA). There were 15 attendees from places such as Burnet, Dripping Springs, San Antonio, and Texas Department Of  Agriculture. We served kale salad, coleslaw/cabbage, red and green salad /lettuce and beats.
